US President Donald Trump dismissed any involvement by America in the ongoing political situation in Bangladesh, saying that it was up to Indian Prime Minister Narendra Modi to handle the matter. 

During a joint press conference in Washington, Trump said, “I’ll leave Bangladesh to PM Modi.”

Trump made these remarks during a joint press conference, following bilateral meeting with Prime Minister of India Narendra Modi, where trade and India-US ties were discussed.
