Afghanistan officials say, reports the BBC.
A spokesman for Afghanistan’s interior ministry described the foreigners as ‘medical staff’.
It is unclear if the attacker has been apprehended by security forces.
Afghanistan has seen a spate of deadly attacks in recent months, which intensified in the run-up to the presidential election, which was held on 5 April.
