DHAKA: Indian Prime Minister Manmohan Singh congratulated Narendra Modi over BJP's victory in Lok Sabha elections. 

Manmohan calls Modi and greeted him on his party's victory in the elections.

Narendra Modi declared as the winner from Vadodara and also won in Varanasi by 50,319 votes defeating AAP's Kejriwal. 

"India has won, good days are coming", says Narendra Modi in his first reaction to Lok Sabha poll trends. 

Manmohan Singh will tender resignation Saturday at 12.30 pm 

Lok Sabha elections 2014 witnessed the highest-ever turnout with 66.38 percent of an estimated 814 million voters exercising their franchise -- the highest ever in the history of general elections.
