Fire breaks out at Mumbai train station

DHAKA: A building at main train station of Mumbai in India, the Chhattrapati Shivaji Terminus or CST, is reportedly on fire. 

Eight fire engines have been rushed to the location. Traffic jams are being reported in South Mumbai.

The fire broke out in the administrative wing located above the train station.

A Railways spokesperson told NDTV, “As a precautionary measure trains running on platform number 1 have been temporarily stopped. No one is stuck.” 

“The fire broke out on fourth floor of the administrative section”, he added.
