DHAKA: Islamic State militants captured the town of Jalawla northeast of Baghdad at dawn on Monday after weeks of clashes with Kurdish fighters.
Police said, IS has extended dramatic gains that have alarmed Iraq’s Western allies, reports The Straits Times.
