DHAKA: A child is killed by violence every five minutes in the world, a leading charity says, calling for new targets to end all forms of abuse by 2030.
In a report, the UK's branch of the UN children's agency Unicef says most of those deaths occur outside war zones, reports BBC.
It says millions of young people under the age of 20 feel unsafe in their homes, schools and communities.
It also blames rapid urbanisation, youth unemployment and rising inequality for creating greater risks.
