Zokey Ahad made deputy HC in Kolkata Zokey Ahad

KOLKATA: Zokey Ahad has been appointed as deputy high commissioner to Bangladesh deputy high commission in Kotkata.

He joined his new office in Kolkata from the United Kingdom on Tuesday.

Born in Dhaka, Zokey served as assistant high commissioner in Manchester before joining in Kolkata.

He was replaced to the post of ex-deputy high commissioner Abida Islam.

On the first day of his office, he conducted a meeting with the secretaries.
