DHAKA: Palestine president Mahmoud Abbas condemned an attack by two Palestinian men in a Jerusalem synagogue which killed four people on Tuesday.

‘The presidency condemns the attack on Jewish worshipers in their place of prayer and condemns the killing of civilians no matter who is doing it,’ his office said in a statement to the media, reports The Jerusalem Post.

However, Israeli prime minister Benjamin Netanyahu has accused Abbas of inciting deadly violence in Jerusalem.
