DHAKA: An unidentified man opened fire inside the car of K Nityananda Reddy, director and vice-chairman of Indian leading pharmaceutical company — Aurobindo Pharma, in the Banjara Hills area of Hyderabad on Wednesday.
No injures were reported from the scene of action, reports the Times of India.
According to police reports, Reddy, after finishing his morning walk at around 7am, was about to get into his car, when an unidentified man also got into the rear seat of the car and opened fire. Fortunately, Reddy managed to escape unhurt, they added.
The attacker panicked and left behind an AK 47 gun and a bag inside the car.
While no arrests have been made so far, police are yet to confirm the motive behind the incident.
