Delhi elections: Bedi confident of win

DHAKA: Voters across Delhi in India have already gathered at different booths to cast their ballot as voting is going on for the 70-member Assembly election 2015 on Saturday.

The election has become a high-profile battle, with Prime Minister Narendra Modi coming out vocally against the AAP and former chief minister Arvind Kejriwal, reports the India Today.

However, according to the report, BJP's chief ministerial candidate Kiran Bedi expressed his confident to win after half of the total votes been casted by 3:00pm.

On the other hand, AAP also egged a good number of voters to turn out in large numbers.

A total of 673 candidates are in the fray for the 70-member Assembly, which is witnessing its second election in an over a year following a hung verdict in December 2013.

The senior leaders from the three main parties have also voted.
