DHAKA: An earthquake of slight intensity, measuring 4.0 on the Richter scale, shook the border region between Bangladesh and the Indian state of Mizoram Thursday morning, said India Meteorological Department (IMD).
The quake jolted at 07:03:01 Indian Standard Time, which had its epicenter at latitude 22.6°N and longitude 92.5°E, occurred at 0703 hours at a focal depth of 5 km, an IMD bulletin added.
