DHAKA: French president Francois Hollande on Wednesday expressed his country’s ‘solidarity’ with Tunisia after at least seven foreigners and a Tunisian national were killed in a brazen day-time attack.

In a brief call with his Tunisian counterpart Beji Caid Essebsi, Hollande expressed ‘the solidarity of France with ... the Tunisian people in this very grave moment’.

A source close to Hollande’s office said, reports The Straits Times.
