DHAKA: At least 20 people were killed in a suicide bombing outside the governor’s house in Afghanistan’s eastern Khost province early Thursday.

According to local police and hospital officials said at least 36 people protesting the governor were also wounded in the attack, including a Member of Parliament.

Demonstrators in Khost have called for the ouster of the governor, reports the Al Jazeera.
