DHAKA: Bangladesh newspaper Banglar Kantha organized a memorial service at its office along Rowell Road tonight, where about 30 Bangladeshi workers recited poems they wrote about Lee Kuan Yew.

A banner made for the service described the late Lee as ‘a leader who devoted his life to building up his nation’, reports The Straits Times.

The Bangladeshi workers also sang songs and recited speeches.
