DHAKA: A massive 7.9-magbutuide earthquake hit Bangladesh, Nepal and north and north-east India on Saturday noon.
United States Geological Survey (USGS) said the quake originated at Lamjung, 81 kilometer north-west of Kathmandu, capital city of Nepal, at 12:11:25pm Bangladesh time.
The jolt was 15 kilometers depth.
At least 150 people have dead as several buildings collapsed in different parts of Nepal.
