DHAKA: The ambassadors of Norway and Philippines and four others were killed when an army helicopter crashed in Naltar area of Gilgit on Friday, according to Inter-Services Public Relations (ISPR) of Pakistan.

Wives of Malaysian and Indonesian ambassadors and two pilots are among the deceased. Further, Polish and Dutch ambassadors were injured in the accident.

Norwegian envoy Leif H Larsen and Philippines ambassador Domingo D Lucenario Jr killed along with the wives of the Malaysian and Indonesian ambassadors, as well as the helicopter’s two pilots.
