DHAKA: More than 800 members of Al-Qaeda were killed in a military offensive against the group in the south of Yemen, the Saudi-led Arab coalition operating in the country said on Monday.

Quoting coalition commanders the official Saudi news agency SPA published the news, reports deccanchronicle.

It said, “The operation resulted... in the death of more than 800 Al-Qaeda members and some of their leaders, while some others fled," said in a statement by SPA”.
