Gunman opens fire at Philippines President Duterte's palace

DHAKA: A gunman opened fire at the Philippines Presidential Palace– home to the strongman leader Rodrigo Duterte, reports dailystar.co.uk.

The Presidential Security Group (PSG) is reportedly investigating the incident that happened inside Malacañang Park – the official residence and workplace of the President.

An officer was left injured after being shot at in the PSG Complex, although no one else was hurt.

Local reports said Rodrigo Duterte was not in the Palace at the time.
