The persecution of Uighur Muslims by Chinese authorities has come to the fore again. Recently, World Uighur Congress President Dolkun Isa in an interview with CNN News 18 alleged that Chinese government is continuously and systematically torturing people of this minority community in a planned way.

The atrocities and violation of human rights at the hand of Chinese authorities amount to comes against humanity.

He vowed to place the issue before the UN seeking trial of perpetrators for crimes against humanity and genocide.
Chinese government has introduced an "education system" for Uighur Muslims with an ulterior motive to divert the issue.

The education is an eyewash to convince international community that it is doing something good for the Uighur.

In reality, Chinese government is distancing the people of this minority community from their main culture and religious feelings.

Confining male, women and children to Chinese centres in the name of imparting education tactfully designed is nothing less than imprisonment without trial. Besides, more than a million of innocent people of this minority group are languishing in jail and facing torture for long.

Several attempts to raise the issue to UN were foiled by China which is the second highest donor. China is lingering the issue and blocking every move to bring it's planned ethnic cleansing offence before UN and any international platform, he alleged.

The Uighur education in concentration camps is being used  as a slingshot to kill two birds together.
