DHAKA: Denmark and Sweden are currently repairing facilities today after a violent Atlantic storm passed through Scandinavia.

Train tracks are being cleared, fallen trees are being taken off the roads and power is being restored, reports The Voice of Russia.

Danish train operator DSB said local, regional and intercity train services would be reduced due to severed power lines, as well as debris and trees on the tracks.

It has been reported that a man died in Gilleleje in northern Zealand and around 70 people were hurt in other sections of Denmark because of the harsh weather conditions.

Rail bridges and main roads reopened late yesterday after they were closed off because of high winds.

The Oresund Bridge, which links Denmark and Sweden together, was also open once again for travelers to use.

No major injuries were found to have happened in Sweden.

Still, an estimated 60,000 homes were left with no power.

This morning, the storm had moved away from the Baltic Sea island of Gotland, reports The Voice of Russia.
