DHAKA: A High Court division bench directed authorities concerned to include 208 Freedom Fighters of Pabna, Chandpur, Kushtia and Magura into gazette within 90 days.

The bench comprising Justice Zubayer Rahman Chowdhury and Justice Ahmed Sohel came up with the order on Tuesday (December 3) while issuing a rule on separate writs filed by 208 Freedom Fighters.

The bench said insolvency of Freedom Fighters (FFs) is shameful for the state and the allowance they are getting is their rights.

Barrister Md Toufik Inam Tipu took part in the hearing for the petitioners, while Deputy Attorney General Amit Das Gupta stood for the state.
