Sable hair brushes and Synthetic fibre brushes: Which ones to use for what?

Sable hair brushes are soft and of the best quality since they are made of natural hair. These last for a long time if maintained well. Sable hair brushes are used for makeup products that are applied dry.

Synthetic fibre brushes are used for wet products like Foundation since it absorbs less product and last longer.

Must have make-up brushes

Foundation brush: This is either large sized or medium sized and flat , makes application easier and even, apply liquid foundation on the face and used this brush to blend evenly all over face.

Blush on brush: Used for applying blush; Use the brush to apply blush on the face in a circular motion to have more control and not use too much product.

Eyeshadow brush: Used for application of eyeshadow on the eyelids, press the brush on the eyeshadow and use a dabbing method so the pigment will sit longer on the eye lid and won’t cause fallouts.

Angled brush: Once you use an eyepencil or eyeliner gel this brush is used to create a smudge effect; it is used to create a smokey smudge effect; can also be used to fill in eyebrows.

Lip brush: Used for applying lip colours and is mostly used for mixing 2 or more colours and gives more control while filling the lips with colour.
