The Tip:

1. Start with freshly washed hair, and comb through a volumizing product from roots to ends.

2. Blow dry your hair with your hands, lifting the strands to help create as much volume as possible. Once your hair is 85 percent dry, use a round brush to finish drying, giving it extra lift.

3. Place a deep side part to the right side, working your bangs over to the opposite side. Apply a nickel-sized amount of a frizz-reducer into your hair from mid-shaft to the ends, staying away from the roots so the top isn't too flat.

4. Finish with an extra-hold hairspray to keep your hair smooth and silky all day long.
