The Look: Textured crown braid

The Tip:

1. Apply a texturizing spray, like Kevin Murphy Hair Resort Spray, through damp hair and loosely dry it with a medium round brush. 

2. Section your hair from the back of one ear forward to your hairline. Starting at your ear, French braid that section up and over your head toward your other ear, fastening the end with a clear elastic band.

3. Using a bungee hair tie, pull the rest of your hair into a low ponytail. Divide the pony into two sections and twist the sections around one another; then fasten it into a bun with bobby pins.

4. Pin the end of the front French braid around the bun. Gently loosen the braid for a more natural, textured look.
