DHAKA: A college student was killed in a road accident at capital’s Motijheel on Friday evening.

The deceased was identified as Kanij Fatema Tasnim, 17, a class-12 student of Motijheel Ideal School and College.

Witnesses said that A BRTC bus knocked several people including Tasnim down while they were crossing road, leaving her injured critically.

She was rushed to Dhaka Medical College Hospital where on duty doctor declared her dead.

Confirming the matter Motijheel Thana officer-in-Charge Forman Ali said police held killer driver and helper.
