DHAKA: Hartal supporters hurled a petrol bomb at a passenger bus at Kalshi of Pallabi Thana at city’s Mirpur area during the second day of hartal leaving six people injured.

The incident took place at around 12:00pm on Monday.

Eyewitnesses said a Jabale Nur bus was going to Abdullapur from Taltola. When it reached at Kalshi, picketers threw a petrol bomb, leaving the bus torched and burnt one passenger and injured five others.

Burnt Sagar was rushed to the Dhaka Medical College Hospital burn unit.

Pallabi Thana Officer-in-Charge Abdul Latif confirmed the matter to banglanews24.com.
