Mirza Mehedi Tamal, crime chief of the largest-circulated national daily Bangladesh Pratidin, and Mamunur Rashid, senior reporter of the English daily Bangladesh Observer, have been elected president and general secretary of Crime Reporters Association of Bangladesh (CRAB) respectively.

CRAB Executive Committee Election-2023 was held on Tuesday (Jan 10).

Tamal, a renowned journalist of the vernacular newspaper of the country's largest business conglomerate Bashundhara Group, has been elected president for the second consecutive term.
