GAZIPUR: Two youths were killed and two others injured in a road accident in Nayanpur area under Sreepur upazila of the district on Saturday morning.

The identity of the deceased could not be known immediately.

Witnesses said that a rashly driven truck collided head on with a CNG-run auto rickshaw on Dhaka-Mymensingh highway in the area at around 11:30 am, leaving four passengers of the auto rickshaw injured critically.

The injured were rushed to local hospital where duty doctor declared two of them dead.

Maona Highway Thana Officer-in-Charge Sanowar Hossain confirmed the matter to banglanews.
