Rapid Action Battalion (RAB-10) arrested a drug dealer with heroin worth approximately Tk 21 lakh from Shyampur area of the capital.

The arrestee identified as Md. Abu Bakr Siddique, 33.

RAB-10 Commander (CO) Additional DIG Mohammad Farid Uddin confirmed the matter to Banglanews on Friday (Mar 3) afternoon.

He said that a drive was conducted in West Jurain area, during which 212 grams of heroin was recovered from Abu Bakr.

A case has been lodged against him with concerned police station under Narcotics Control Act, he added.
