16 sued over Sitakunda plant fire

A case was filed against 16 people of Seema Oxygen Plant on Monday (Mar 6) night in connection with the deaths of its seven employees in a massive fire in Chattogram's Sitakunda.

Sitakunda Police Station Inspector (Investigation) Abu Saeed confirmed the matter.

He said wife of a victim, filed the case against the 16 people at Sitakunda Model Police Station around 11:30 pm on Monday.

The investigation into the case will be launched very soon, he said.
