Khagrachhari-Sajek road communication suspended as bridge collapses

A stone-laden truck fell down breaking Maini Bridge in Khagrachhari's Dighinala on Tuesday (Mar 7) morning.

According to information, motor vehicle movement on the Sajek and Baghaichhori road from Dighinala has been suspended since 10:00am.

Dighinala police officer-in-charge (OC) Muhammad Ali confirmed the matter.

However, no casualties were reported in this regard, the OC added.
