Members of the Rapid Action Battalion (RAB) arrested nine members of militant group Jamatul Ansar Fil Hindal Sharqiya at Tongkaboti in sadar upazila.

Director of RAB's legal and media wing, Commander Khandaker Al Moin confirmed the matter while briefing the media on Monday (March 13).

He said members of the Rapid Action Battalion (RAB) 1, 11, and 15 conducted a joint drive and arrested them along with arms and explosives.

A case has been lodged against them and handed over to the police, the RAB official added.
