DHAKA: Prime Minister Sheikh Hasina, also ruling Awami League president, returned home from Saudi Arabia early Sunday after performing Umrah.

A special flight of Biman Bangladesh Airlines carrying the premier and her entourage landed at Shahjalal International Airport around 12:27am.

Meanwhile, new ministers, PM’s advisor and chiefs of three forces and high officials welcomed the Prime Minister in the airport.

On Friday, the premier offered ziarat at the holy Rowja Mubarak of Prophet Hazrat Muhammad (SM), and prayed for country and people.

Earlier, a 55-member team including Prime Minister’s sister Sheikh Hasina, officers of Prime Minister’s office and foreign ministry, security personnel and journalists accompanied the premier during the tour.
