NARAYANGANJ: A physician was killed under the wheels of a train in Narayanganj central rail station area of on Monday morning.

The deceased was identified as Sarfuddin Ahmed, 70, son of late Hossain Uddin from Jamtola area of the city.

Confirming the matter, Sub-Inspector Kuddus Mia of Narayanganj central rail station police outpost told banglanews that he went for morning-walk.

He was knocked down by an engine as he came upon the trail tracks at the station area while talking over the mobile phone and died on the spot.
