DHAKA: The government has given approval the draft act of De Oxy Ribonucleic Acid (DNA) Act-2013 keeping the provision of awarding seven years jail and Tk 3 lakh as fine.
    
The approval came from the regular cabinet meeting at secretariat with Prime Minister Sheikh Hasina in the chair on Monday noon.

Cabinet secretary M Mosharraf Hossain Bhuiyan made the disclosure while briefing journalists after the meeting.

On November 21, mentioning names and portfolio of prime minister, 21 ministers and seven state ministers, a gazette was published from cabinet division for all-party government to oversee the next polls.

It was the first meeting after forming the new cabinet.
