A Dhaka court today (April 13) fixed May 7 to hear arguments in an arms case filed against Rabiul Islam alias Arav Khan.
Judge Murshid Ahmed of Dhaka's Special Tribunal-14 set the date.
The judge said that self-defence statement of the accused was not recorded as he was earlier declared a "fugitive". So, the next date was fixed for arguments.
Earlier, the tribunal recorded statements of 10 witnesses, including the complainant of the case.
Arav Khan is also an accused in a case filed in connection with the murder of a police inspector in 2018.
