In the 'Community Solution Program' hosted by the United States, Kushtia's Social Organization and Library 'Krishoker Batighar' has ranked among the first 400 organizations out of 7,892 from 95 countries across the world. 

International Research & Exchanges Board (IREX) has published the result after monitoring the activities of Krishoker Batighar (Farmers Lighthouse) recently.

A press release has been sent to the media from Krishoker Batighar on Tuesday (May 30).

According to the press release, Community Solution Program is the professional leadership development platform for the global social leaders. The function of this program is to monitor and analyse the activities of various social organizations and to provide opportunities for better leadership to its entrepreneurs and stakeholders.

Fellows of this program apply their new skills through a community action project to play an important role in the development of society. It is implemented by the US government, reads press release.

Hossain Mohammad Sagar, the entrepreneur and founder of Krishoker Batighar, said, "We are very excited on our development. It is a great achievement for us, and for our country."

Krishaker Batighar organisation and library working to help the farmers is located at Amla village of Mirpur upazila in Kushtia.
