The government will also likely borrow Tk 1,32,395 crore from the banking sector in the next budget to meet the deficit financing. 

However, the target for borrowing from the banking sector in the current fiscal year was Tk 1,06,334 crore.

Finance Minister Mustafa Kamal will propose the loan while presenting the budget for the fiscal year 2023-24 on Thursday (June 1).

On information, in the revised budget for the current financial year 2022-23, the bank loan of the government was increased to Tk 1,15,425 crores, and from the main budget, the government's bank loan estimate was 1, 006,334 crores.

Earlier, in the revised budget at the end of this year Tk 9,00,91 crores of debt was increased and rescheduled.
