A woman and her two sons were killed and two others injured after a bus rammed their CNG-run taxi at Karnaphuli Upazila of Chattogram on Thursday (June 1).

The deceased were identified as Shahinur Akter, 45, wife of Shafi of Jiri union Ward No. 4, and her two sons –Miraz, 15, Manik, 20.

The accident took place at Dakpara area of Karnaphuli Baruthan Union at around 7:30 pm.

Officer-in-Charge of Karnaphuli Police Station Dulal Mahmud confirmed the matter.

Police rescued the injured and later handed over the bodies to Anwara police station, he said.
