The National Security Intelligence (NSI) and Officials of Customs Intelligence recovered 12 gold bars from an abandoned baggage at Chattogram Shah Amanat International Airport on Monday (June 5) morning.

The estimated market value of the recovered gold is over Tk 63.17 lakh.

From the baggage found near the International Arrival Conveyor Belt at the airport terminal, 12 long rod-shaped gold bars weighing approximately 736 grams (24 carats) were recovered, airport sources said.

None was arrested in this connection, they added.
