Indian Border Security Force (BSF) shot two Bangladeshi farmers in the bordering area of Brahmanbaria's Kasba upazila.
BGB Battalion-60 Commander Lt Col Ashiq Hasan Ullah confirmed the matter.
The injured are Azam Ali Bhuiyan, 55, and Iqbal Bhuiyan, 45, of Dhwajnagar village.
Ashiq Hasan Ullah said Azam and Iqbal were grazing cows near the border when BSF members opened fire on them, leaving them injured.
They protested the incident, the BGB official said.
They hold a flag meeting with BSF in this regard later in the day, he added.
