NARAYANGANJ: Around 12 passengers of a Shallow engine-run vehicle were injured as an armored personnel carrier (APC) of Industrial Police knocked it on Dhaka-Sylhet highway in Mahna area of the district on Wednesday morning.

The injured were identified as garment workers of Bentex factory of the area.

Witnesses said that a rashly driven APC of Industrial police pushed the vehicle carrying the garment workers in the area at around 8:00 am, leaving them injured.

Later, the injured were rushed to local clinics.

However, the Officer-in-Charge of Rupganj Thana Asaduzzaman refused the matter of the accident.
