Bangladesh Meteorology Department (BMD) predicted light to moderate rain or thundershowers in different parts of the country in the next 24 hours commencing 9am today (June 24).
According to the Met office bulletin, “Light to moderate rain or thundershowers accompanied by temporary gusty wind is likely to occur at most places over Khulna, Barishal and Chattogram divisions and at a few places over Rangpur, Rajshahi, Mymensingh, Dhaka and Sylhet divisions with moderately heavy to very heavy falls at places over Khulna, Barishal and Chattogram divisions."
However, the day and night temperature may remain nearly unchanged over the country.
Country's maximum temperature on Friday was recorded 36.2degrees Celsius at Rajshahi, while today's minimum temperature 22.0 degrees Celsius was recorded at Kutubdia.
The highest rainfall was recorded 62mm at Hatiya in the last 24 hours till 6 am today.
The sun sets at 6:50pm today and rises at 5:12am tomorrow in the capital.
