A murder case has been filed against seven persons including Labaid Specialized Hospital's managing director Dr A M Shamim over the death of Tahsin Hossain, 17.

The other accused are Sir Salimullah Medical College assistant professor and LabAid Specialized Hospital surgeon Dr. Md. Saifullah, assistant surgeon Dr. Maksud, Dr. Sabbir Ahmed, Dr. Musharraf, Dr. Kanak, and Branch Manager of Hospital Shah Jahan.

Tahsin's father Monir Hossain filed the case with Dhaka metropolitan magistrate Begum Diba Chandar's court on Monday (June 26)

Plaintiff's lawyer Tanveer Ahmed Sajeeb confirmed the matter.

Accepting the case, the court ordered the officer in charge of the Dhanmondi police station to investigate the case, he said.
