At least four people were killed and two sustains in a collision between a truck and a pickup van in Sirajganj on Thursday (June 29).

The deceased were identified as Sujan Sheikh, 32, Rabbi Hossain, 24, of Gaibandha and Masud Rana, 24, and Ayan, 4, of Natore.

The accident occurred at Pukurpar point of Hatikumrul-Banpara highway in the morning.

According to information, six people including the driver of a cow-laden pickup were injured as truck hit them, of which four died on the way to hospital.

Bardul Kabir, Officer-in-Charge of Hatikumrul Highway Police Station confirmed the matter.
