Al Mamun Rasel, a lawyer of the Bangladesh Supreme Court (SC), has been awarded with The Diplomat Award'2023.

He received the award for his work in the development of the youth of Bangladesh at a conference held in Bangkok, on Friday (June 30).

Advocate Represented Bangladesh at the International Diplomat Conference on the occasion of World Diplomacy Forum. He also presented a presentation at the conference and the topic was - 'The impact of cybercrimes on global youth'. 

Earlier, also Al Mamun Russell received the International Leader Edward at the conference held in Kathmandu, capital of Nepal by the Global Youth Parliament, and the 2022 Next Generation International Leader Edward for his work in the development of the youth of Bangladesh. He is also an author and motivational speaker.

Apart from his legal profession, Mamun Russell is also the Chairman of Bangladesh Debate Association, a national debating organization and earlier he was the President of South Asian Youth Association (SAYA), a youth organization based in South Asia.

The former student of DU Al Mamun Russell is the son of Abul Hashem of Chouddagram, Comilla. Russel's father Abul Hashem is a former military officer and mother Feroza Begum is an elected female councilor of Chauddagram Municipality.
