Seven people including five of a family were killed as a bus hit a battery-run autorickshaw in Jashore on Friday (July 7).

The accident took place in Lebutala area at 6.30pm.

According to police and fire service, the deceased were sent to Jeshore 250 Bed General Hospital's morgue. However, Details of the deceased could not be known immediately.

Katwali Police Station OC Tajul Islam confirmed the matter.

Details will be informed later, the OC added.
