At least three people were killed and seven others injured in a clash between two rival groups over a land dispute in Godagari upazila of Rajshahi on Monday (July 10) morning.

The deceased were identified as Naimul Islam (80), Meher Ali (70) and Sohel Rana (45).

Kamrul Islam, officer-in-charge (OC) of Godagari upazila confirmed the matter.

He said the clash erupted between two groups at Musrapara Yajpur village of Pakdi union in the upazila at around 9 am, leaving ten injured.

The injured were admitted to the hospital where duty doctor declared three of them dead, he said.
