Bashundhara Group Chairman Ahmed Akbar Sobhan has said Prime Minister Sheikh Hasina utilises her every moment very sincerely only to turn the country into ‘Sonar Bangla’ envisaged by Bangabandhu Sheikh Mujibur Rahman.

He said: “Hasina knows how to continue development works for the country facing all obstacles. She brought revolutionary changes to Bangladesh through infrastructural development. She made Dhaka the centre point of the world democracy.”

Bashundhara Group Chairman was addressing a Business Summit held in the capital today (July 15).

The Federation of Bangladesh Chambers of Commerce and Industry (FBCCI), the apex trade organization of the country, has organized a conference titled 'Business Conference on Building Smart Bangladesh' at the Bangabandhu International Conference Center (BICC).

The business leaders informed about their possibilities and problems to Prime Minister Sheikh Hasina, who joined the conference as the Chief guest. 

Commerce Minister Tipu Munshi and Prime Minister's Private Industry and Investment Adviser Salman Fazlur Rahman attended the program as special guests.
