Police recovered the throat-slit body of a man from Chakaria Hospital area of Cox's Bazar on Saturday (July 15).

The deceased Ershadullah, 32, was a sales representative of a private medicine company. He hailed from Amladanga Upazila of Chuadanga district.

According to police, the body was recovered from the ground inside Chakaria Upazila health complex at 11 pm.

Chakaria police station officer in charge Abdul Jabbar confirmed the matter.

He said why and who killed Ershadullah is not known immediately. 

Quoting locals, OC said that some 3-4 people forcefully took Ershad to murder spot. Later, locals informed the police. When police reached the spot found Ershad was already dead

After the incident miscreants left the scene, he said, adding the body of the deceased has been sent to Cox's Bazar District Sadar Hospital morgue for post-mortem.
